It’s one thing to be successful in real estate. It’s another thing to be able to help the people around you succeed and be their best. Throughout her career, and as chief operations officer and co-founder of Reason, that’s what Aislynn Hobbs has done — and she loves doing it. She says, “I’m most proud when my team exceeds its own expectations.”
In 2013, Aislynn worked in sales with Zillow® in Orange County, where she met her husband, Brandon, who was in the process of becoming a REALTOR. While Brandon’s real estate career advanced, Aislynn moved up to the enterprise’s sales team and began working on Zillow® marketing campaigns with some of the nation’s biggest brokers, learning the most effective and efficient operational and conversion strategies for real estate leads.
When she and Brandon decided to start a family in 2016, Aislynn left her corporate position at Zillow® and became a REALTOR herself. During this time, she and Brandon collaborated to create a real estate software called RealContact, which integrated a 24/7 human concierge team with software that provided round-the-clock coverage of client contacts, ensuring prompt follow-up for all customers. Aislynn developed the internal operations for RealContact, from recruiting and training each concierge to formulating the processes for onboarding and managing performance. The success of RealContact within the real estate sphere led to its acquisition in 2018 by the real estate tech firm BoomTown ROI, which has found its internal adaptation of the system to be one of its most profitable client offerings.
That’s when Aislynn and Brandon founded Reason Real Estate, a firm based on their own principles of client service. Aislynn spent three more years helping Boomtown implement its system before finally coming to Reason full-time to help her husband and the agents in their employ maximize results.
Through it all, Aislynn is proud that their innovative efforts have produced the sort of work-life balance that has enabled the two of them to be with their young family. She says, “While we work around the clock, we are able to do it with our kids by our side.” And she couldn’t be happier with the results. “We look for agents whose motivation matches our own,” she says. “They are trying to change their lives and their clients’ lives for the better, and I am thankful to be a part of it.”
Off the clock, Aislynn loves spending time with her husband and kids, cooking, baking, and hosting family and friends.
